It is really very simple:
He played football with a bunch of teenage boys. He "tackled" (it was touch football) one boy (ummm… our oldest son, actually) and was going at such a top speed, he could not stop himself from running and jumping off a ledge/hill thingy, landed weird and SNAP.
What was that? Are you laughing? How cruel.
It's in a tricky spot once again, and will require surgery, which HOPEFULLY will happen this week.
He is at home waiting for the surgery this time, but we did manage a visit to the hospital before they kicked him out.
Déjà vu.
Everyone looks appropriately somber. Except Reid who looks slightly… mad? Twitchy?

The distress of the last time he broke his leg is apparently still on her mind.
