Every once and awhile it's nice to clean out the cameras and share all the random things I thought were important enough to be taking pictures of at the time.
It doesn't get much more exciting than this!
And here they are for you to enjoy:
A couple months ago we celebrated this thing called "Halloween"
You may have heard of it.
These are my kids in their costumes. They are all pretty self explanatory I think.
Except for Reid's. I have no explanation for that at all.
Little kids with little piles of candy. This is Australia… trick or treating doesn't bring in much, but
it's a nice time of the year, so at least we get ourselves a nice pleasant walk.
Reid is not pictured here, because I don't like him much.
Kidding! He went treating with his friends this year because he's too good for us.
And speaking of the kid who's too good for us… here he is!
You might think this picture is to showcase a giant jar of nutella,
but really, it's all about the Harvey Fresh orange juice.
Now that's exciting!
Really big chocolate bars make my kids act all weird and crazed.
They get that from their mother…
My daughter and her absolute favourite game in the entire UNIVERSE!
She is always roping someone into playing with her.
But don't you dare beat her at it, or you'll be mortal enemy #1.
The man. Doing his man stuff.
You know after a while how you get sick of hearing your kids asking you twenty times
every single day can they have some of their Halloween candy, and after fifty
thousand days of hearing it, you lose it and shout "Just eat all the stinkin' candy,
so it's gone and I don't have to hear about it anymore!!!" ??? Yeah…
This little chick loves to help out with the cooking. The second I'm
in the kitchen getting things out to prepare food, Lena is racing in
"Can I help, can I help, CAN I HELP!??!?"
It's cute. Sometimes. You know us mothers, we hate having our space.
Along with being a master chef, she is also a major fashionista.
She put this little number together all by herself.
Bathing suit and bright pink sweat pants… watch out for it,
everyone will be wearing it soon!
After a very lazy summer break, we are back to school this week.
I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Homeschooling is a bittersweet kind of thing.
There's a lot of whining, fighting, not paying attention, frustration, tears, no time to myself,
a million things to be constantly preparing… hmmm… yeah, so pretty much just a bitter thing.
Alright, alright… I'm lying. I love it. My children are absolute angels.
Mostly.
My boys have spent a HUGE chunk of their summer days holed up playing on iPads.
It's been a really great use of their time, let me tell you.
The other chunk of our time has been swimming, swimming and then a bit of swimming.
It's been so nice…
I bet you think she's jumping in here, but she actually possesses the
ability to hover… (she is WAY into her meditation/enlightenment)
All that time in the sun has turned my kids kinda brown.
Nice tan lines Lena! I can show this picture because her
little tushie is pixelated… otherwise I may never be spoken to again.
The end.
