super six

Well now that we are all officially out of the old house and into the new house, and have the wonderful world wide web at our finger tips again, I should get on with updating the family blog...

My daughter turned six recently. Kind of recently... like a month ago recently.

We decided that because we love her so much, we'd go ahead and celebrate the day...

First up... a highly nutritious breakfast courtesy of McDonalds.

Looking thrilled...
"Just take the picture already Mother, so I can get rippin' into my presents!!!"

Enjoying a good read from Aunty Amy.

Surprised Lena...

Confused Lena...

Throw your hands up in the air Lena.

At this point in the present opening, Conner starting hovering in the background.
So of course, I had to have some fun...

(It was Lego... Conner loves loves loves loves LOVES Lego with every fibre of his being)

Nice stash Lena...

Not only can you enjoy this picture of Lena playing with her new stuff,
you can also play a little game of "how many random toes can you count?"
It's fun!

All her hard work. She named it Rosie.
Thankfully, I am here to keep you informed on stuff you would
never be able to figure out for yourself.

Conner begged and pleaded to build her Lego for her, and she agreed since she's sweet.
Plus she doesn't like building Lego so much as playing with the end product.

She requested a rainbow heart birthday cake... as usual, she got her way.

So sweet and lady like even when blowing out candles.

I took this photo the night before Lena's birthday, when my husband was slaving away
on his daughter's cake. It just looked too adorable... a grown man icing a heart shaped cake with rainbow colours.

For her party Lena decided to grab a bunch of cute kids and take them to see "Turbo."
They may have a had a bit of fun.

Cute posers...

Silly posers...
