If you keep this up, Wesley, you are just going to keep getting older you know.
He decided that what he would really love for his birthday, was to go to work for the morning, and then party it up in the afternoon.
We didn't necessarily agree with the whole going to work thing, but since it was his birthday we let him get his way...
Picture time!
Another entertaining birthday card from Aunty Amy.
Just one thing missing from this shot...
That's better.
This year, I couldn't think of what to get the man for his birthday, so I made my children
choose the presents. They loved it, and it made my life easier.
Hello new tradition!!
A&W Rootbeer Jelly Beans. YUMMO!
Conner thoughtfully selected this present.
"I know what daddy has REALLY been hoping for Mommy!"
"What's that?"
"Some SOCKS!!!"
He was super proud of himself.
Wes and his blessings.
AWWW!!!
Don't worry Wes, no matter how old and decrepit you get, I will always think of
you as my young and dashing beau.
I mean belle.
So pretty!
After presents and cake, we went out for dinner
(yeah, we do things backwards sometimes... we're Australian now!)
It was so dark in this restaurant, I couldn't get a decent picture, so I whipped out my easel
and acrylics and painted this instead. How'd I do...?
And... he did.
Just in case you are wondering, it is not at all embarrassing to have
your child throw up in a restaurant.
I like this picture because it proves how much my daughter loves me...
Can't you just SEE the love in her eyes?
No? Well, let me help you out a bit...
TOLD YA!
After dinner we went to the movies. Wes likes to count his teeth when he watches a show.
But what dentist doesn't??
By the way, that may look like a box of popcorn Jarom is holding, but it's actually
his barf bucket. Luckily, he did not use it. It was his birthday gift to Wes.
(FYI we don't know what was going on with Jarom. He wasn't sick... we think maybe he
just stuffed himself a little too much with cake before we went out)
Happy Birthday WESLEY!!!
