swim day

Christmas in Australia is getting a little less weird/sad with each passing year. We're adjusting, but deep down we will always miss the snow and the cold and... and... what was that other thing...?

Oh, yeah. The family.

And although we can't go out and build a snowman or have our nose hairs freeze every time we take a breath, OR gather around the grandparents tree and drink some hot chocolate (sniff, SOB) we can certainly do this (and be somewhat happy with our lot in life):

Lena, in case you didn't notice, has some very kind, supportive brothers just wrapped around all her fingers. And thanks to this video, you've learned an important lesson from Jarom and Conner... a cannonball isn't a cannonball unless you shout out a little "whoop!" before you jump.

My Australian children who don't know any better than to go
swimming in December. Snow angel? What's a snow angel???

Geronimo...

Muscle men boys.

Don't you just hate it when your face gets swallowed up by your massive muscles... (Jarom)

Merry Christmas.
