vroom

Since Conner is such a car fanatic, we decided that Wes would take him go-karting for his birthday this year. No one else... just Conner and his old man. How sweet!

And because I wouldn't be there to document the action, I instructed the old man to capture the adventure using the camera on his phone.

So here's some photos, courtesy of Wes....

I know. What is this? Where are the go karts? Where's Conner? Where is he???

Ahhh... here we go... Conner. A little fuzzy, but let's take what we can get. He's wondering where he is, and what exactly is going to happen.

Hmmm... now what you're probably wondering. Well... it's a dog. And apparently Wes thought it was a picture worthy dog.

Here's Conner, ready to race. It may look like he's hanging his head in misery and despair, but I'm gonna have to guess it's just his skinny little four year old neck that can't handle the weight of the helmet.

Somebody help the kid! His neck is going to break off! No, really... he was actually a little nervous and trying to hide at this point. At least, that's what Wes claims.

It may not look like it, but this face he's making actually means he's happy. He liked the ride. He wants to do it again. Success!!!

Thanks Wes for taking all those fabulous shots. And don't you worry about the fact that you didn't get any pictures of the race track or anything... because hey, at least we got to see a mucky stream and some random dog... now that's gold!
