My husband may have been getting on my case recently about updating this blog. I really want to do it, but you know how it goes...
I'm pretty lazy.
Okay, actually not this time, I have been pretty busy.
PLUS pretty lazy, which is a confusing combination, the result of which is I haven't blogged much lately.
So I suggested the great idea to my husband, that he also get on here once and awhile and blog something, because MAYBE one day our kids would like to see his point of view on things. This blog is kind of a family journal after all, and they could be getting bored and/or sick and tired of me.
His response to this suggestion was "NO WAY."
Apparently he feels that writing on a blog is too difficult, and that he has no skill for writing. Then he tells me it would be like if he asked me to go and do some science everyday...
Which I think is his way of hinting that I'm no good at science. The nerve!
Wait... what's a nerve again...?
THEN he went ahead and gave me permission to write some posts for him, to get inside his head and write from his perspective... I know after all "how his mind works."
That was really nice of him I thought...
And brave.
So, I am of course going to take him up on his offer. First I have to show you this video:
I guess you want to know what's going on, so I'll tell you. We had a games night at the Finch's home (months ago actually) and Wes had to shake as many ping pong balls out of the box strapped to his hiney as he could in one minute.
He took it very seriously as you can tell.
Now it's time for me to get inside his head and share his thoughts on the video...
This is what he's thinking right now...
"I can't believe she put that video on the blog for everyone to see, after I specifically told her not to."
I am so good at getting inside his head actually, that I can predict what future Wes will be thinking when he re-watches this video 5 years from now....
"I still can't believe she put that video on the blog for everyone to see, after I specifically told her not to. I love being a dentist."
And now, prepare yourselves, because I know exactly what he will be thinking when he watches this video again FIFTY years from now...
"Golly gee! Look at me go... what a delightful whippersnapper I was back in the day. I'm so glad she put this video on the blog for everyone to see!!!"
Your welcome, Wes.
Your welcome.
And thanks for the lovely post.
