the kiddies

You may remember me mentioning about fifty years ago (okay, fine... about month ago), that it was Father's Day over here in Oz, and that Wes got some ties and was forced to BBQ for us that day... BUT what I failed to mention is that a month before THAT, the kids and I secretly stole away and had a little photo shoot, so we could surprise the MAN of the house with some beautiful little photos of his children for Father's Day.

I wish I could say that this was all my plan, but it was actually suggested to me by our very talented photographer friend, and his lovely wife... but I agreed to it, so that must count for something. So we all  trekked out one windy day (not that we wanted it windy, it just happened to be so), and ended up with billions of photos, which I am FINALLY getting around to sharing with you. Of course, I can't share them all, but these are a few of my favourites...

Ahhh... she melts my heart.

And so does he... so innocent... so happy.

Yeah, yeah... they melt my heart too, of course. These two are the best big brothers you will ever meet in your entire life.

Hmmm... I can't tell. Is he running? Skipping? Floating?

Reid and Jarom had the most fun getting their fight scenes photographed. This one has a very Matrix kind of a feel to it...

So does this one. Although I'm not sure if Jarom is striking his brother down, or conducting a really difficult orchestra. Take your pick, I guess.

I love this picture... it was so windy, and poor Lena just couldn't handle it. Especially combined with the uneven ground. She didn't stand a chance.

Nicely done, Conner. You have got that smoldering look mastered.

Did I mention already that they melt my heart???

As you can see, there wasn't a shot of them altogether, as Conner flat our REFUSED to sit with everyone and pose, but despite that fact, I like to think the day was a success.

(Thanks Colin and Emma!)
