So the other day Jarom and Conner went outside to play... and a little while later Conner comes running inside crying his little heart out. Unfortunately for us and him, he isn't the greatest talker, and he couldn't explain what had happened. So while he got some comfort from his daddy, I went outside to question the child who can speak and make sense. When I went outside, Jarom was sitting on the grass looking pretty guilty. His explanation went a little something like this...
"I needed to get over to this place" (points to one end of the yard) "and Conner was there, and so I moved him out of the way..." and then he puts on what he probably considered his most innocent face.
Yeah, that's right... moved him out of the way... in other words, he pushed him. Ahhh... nice try Jarom, I see right through you and your charming ways. So I had to give him a little talking to about treating his brother better than that, and then I had to hurry inside so he couldn't see that I actually found the whole kind of amusing.
I suppose with such great skills in word manipulation, he should really be giving up his dreams of being a fire fighter, and think about a career in Law... (haha, sorry David)
