Because we are a day ahead of North America, we watch general conference a week behind here in Australia.
It makes sense if you really think about it.

We watch from home because it's cozy, fun, we can wear our pyjamas, and eat treats galore.
Oh YES we DO!!!
So this last weekend was conference… our kids love conference weekend. This year was a little different though since Wes and Jarom were at ACTUAL conference in Utah, but we still all sat around and watched it together the following week. So now Wes and Jarom are just extra special spiritual ;)
What the house looks like after we've watched four hours of church.
Looks more like a major sleep over than anything. We may need to re-evaluate
our casualness during conference.

One of the ways we like to trick our kids into paying attention to the conference talks. Every time they
hear one of these words (or related words), they get to grab a candy.
I don't know if it's a good system or not, because all we tend to hear throughout conference
is shouts of "HE SAID THIS! HE SAID THAT! Does children count as family???
He said Alma! Does that count as prophet… does that count as scripture? Can it count as BOTH!?!?"
It's not distracting at all...
Then there's this one. It starts out blank, and then you get to draw the speaker in
and fill out what they spoke about. It's cute/fun. The best is taking a look afterwards
at their skills. Reid decided to make Pres. Monson look like a cartoon character, and
Jarom (unintentionally, I think) has him looking like he's borderline zombie.
Nice.
All that conference talking put these ones in a MAJOR crafting mood.

Every once and awhile you'd hear chuckles coming from his direction.
The man of the house made us a tasty breakfast. Thankfully Reid took a picture of his, otherwise
I would have never been able to poke fun of this!...
