My fourth little kiddie turns seven tomorrow, and she has been counting down the days pretty much since her last birthday. She is obsessed with birthdays and holidays.
She is also obsessed with mail. She has been our mail collector since the day she learned there was such a miraculous thing as mail. So the other day when she pulled the mail out of the box and saw there was something addressed to her, the screams of excitement could be heard echoing throughout Australia.
"IT'S FOR ME!!!"
Really… if you want this girl to love you forever and ever, just send her something in the mail.
She came running through the house, shoving it in everyone's face… "It's for me! It's a card for me! It's my birthday card from Aunty Amy!!!"
I think you're officially her favourite person, Amy. Well done.
Overjoyed.
She is so excited for her birthday, and so thrilled with her card, she
has been carrying it around with her everywhere since.
It has joined her for meals...
Kept her company during school…
And it's the first thing she grabs in the morning.
It has literally not left her side.
So cute. And kind of weird. So pretty much a typical Prepchuk ;)
In other news…
For all the parents who have been wondering what those random red poles are
for at the local park, we have now solved the mystery:
They are apparently there for teenagers to climb and fall off and break all their bones.
Unfortunately one of those teenagers is mine. Don't worry, he didn't break any bones... YET!
He is the offspring of Wes after all… so it's only a matter of time.
