My oldest kid is fourteen, which in LDS land means you get to start going to church dances. Last night was his first dance, and once he made sure he had some friends to go with, he got himself all dolled up.
A dance is not a dance without a little theme going on… the theme this time was simply "GEEK."
Fun times. And possibly offensive.

Lucky for us he sports braces these days, so he had a little "built in"
nerdy-ness going on as well.
The next morning his brothers and sister started interrogating him about the dance, and I told them that he got a slow dance in with a girl (oooooohh!), at which Lena shouts to Reid, "You danced with a girl in a nerd suit?!?!"
Kids are fun stuff. Lucky I have fifty. Thousand.
