Sometimes it's all about the sweet simple things.
For example my third born son... Conner. He has a set of eyes that will light up any room.
That has nothing to do with the simple thing I'm going to share.
But really.... his eyes are that good.
He comes to me last night, clutching his stomach, "Mommy.... mommy... ooohhh, my stomach is hurting."
Me: "Go use the bathroom." (Yes, this is always my go to line when my kids complain of a tummy ache)
Conner (anticipating my response, I suppose): "Oooohhhh.... I already DID try going to the bathroom.... oooohhh... and it still hurts."
Me: "????" (The bathroom thing pretty much always works)
Conner: "Mommy! I know what it is... Mommy... it's a heart attack."
Me: "What?! I thought it was your stomach that was hurting."
Conner: "It IS! Oooohhh... Mommy... my stomach is having a heart attack."
Ah, yeah. I hate it when that happens.
(It's moments like these that I am so proud of my skills as a homeschooling mother)
You'll be glad to know he survived his stomach's heart attack.
Anyone else like photoshop?
( I told you his eyes light up the room!)
