We like it.
Most days.
Somedays we laze around and play all morning and get to the school work when we're good and ready. For the most part though, I am a schedule freak, and we are hunkered down bright and early, stuffing our brains full of knowledge we are going to forget by next week.
I decided that for today's post, I'd share some pictures of my studious little kiddies...
What I'd like to believe he's thinking: "Grammar is terrific. Grammar is great. Grammar
fills me with indescribable joy!"
What he's really thinking: "I am SO going to rush through this work, so I can go hunt
for flies to feed my lizard!"
What I'd like to believe he's thinking: "I wish I could sit here and do Math all day.
Math is glorious. Math brings peace to my soul."
What he is really thinking: "Math is pointless, torturous, mind numbingly AWFUL stuff!"
I wish I could disagree with you Jarom, but I don't think truer words have been spoken.
What I'd like to believe he's thinking: "How dare she interrupt me for a photo? She knows
perfectly well how much I love to focus on my work and not be distracted at all!"
What he's really thinking: "I can't believe I have to do ALL this work!!! This is so not fair...
I should be playing Nintendo and eating fifty granola bars right now!"
What I'd like to believe she's thinking: "I love school. I love my
mother. I love life and learning!"
What she's really thinking: "I love school. I love my
mother. I love life and learning!"
What can I say... she's an angel.
