First up... Christmas Eve. We decided to keep it nice and relaxing. The first relaxing thing we did was make sugar cookies. Then we ate them until we were sick, all while watching Christmas movies.
Good times.
It would seem that to my kids, making sugar cookies is as exciting as riding a roller coaster.
Whoopeeeeee!!!!!
Like gingerbread house making, sugar cookie decorating is a serious business in the Prepchuk home.
So serious in fact, that wearing your shirt inside out is necessary to counteract the seriousness of it all.
In sugar cookie land, pink is actually red. You might think it's pink,
but trust me... you are wrong. It is RED.
Making Santa cookies for Santa to eat. I wonder if Santa finds it
weird to be "eating" himself...
This is not even half of what we accomplished. And we only gave Santa FOUR. The
rest we needed to make ourselves fat.
I may or may not have forgotten to take a picture of the cookies
my kids worked on for Santa on the special Santa plate, but
luckily for everyone, I did snap a picture of what the plate looked like
after Santa had been... phew!
Ready to open new p.j.'s and the new stuffy.
With only two of my kids looking at me, and only one of those actually smiling, I'm
going to go ahead and call this picture a success!
Ripping through... Conner was a little worried for a moment, that instead of slipping into some
new p.j.'s, he was going to have to eat two boxes of cornflakes. Now there's a tradition!
Everyone with all their new shiny stuff. Due to someone always being disappointed with their
loot, I went ahead and got all the boys similar pyjamas, and all the kids similar stuffed animals
(pillow pets, in case you're wondering). It worked out well... not one single tear or pouty face!
Four pats on the back for me...
Oh, they're cute. But of course I think so.
It's blurry, I know. But I also know you don't care.
Stay tuned for the Christmas Day post!
