Wilson

I know I promised you a birthday number two... and believe ME, it's coming!

But before I go around fulfilling my promises, I thought I'd just share with you some pictures of Wes and I going a little crazy...

Alright, this isn't exactly a picture of Wes and I going crazy, but it is evidence of our insanity.
Because we, ON PURPOSE, went out and bought this "little" puppy, even though WE KNOW
that dogs are a lot of work, a lot of effort, a lot of money, and a lot of stink.

Aw... but look at those happy faces! We have been promising those sweet, innocent little faces
for YEARS that we would get a dog. And so, we figured we ought to do it, especially since the next
thing we know, Reid is going to be on his mission! (WHAT?!)

I spent fifty bazillion hours on the internet researching dogs, and decided in the end that we'd be
best off with a golden retriever. I could list you all the reasons why, but I prefer NOT to bore
people to tears on this blog.

So... here he is, the golden retriever. His name is Wilson... he loves to chew on shoes,
chase his tail, lick your face, bark, whine, run like a goof, and pretty much
any other typical puppy thing you can think of.

We kind of like him actually.

On the day we were going to pick him up, our massively excited kids decided
to kill time by thinking of all the millions of puppy related questions they could and writing them
down. They had every intention of bringing that list along, so they could interrogate the breeder...
but then, in the excitement of "it's time to go get Wilson!", they charged into the car,
and completely forgot the list. They were a little disappointed (and worried) when they
realized what they had done, but managed to ask a few of the questions they could remember.

AND luckily for you and me, I am going to store those questions on this here blog forever
and ever and ever. This stuff is very useful to have, you know...
