This year, as in all the years past, a giant bunny decided to break into our house and leave us some chocolate treats. Creepy? Kinda. But so yummy, we'll forgive the weirdness of it all.
When I was a young, the Easter bunny did his breaking and entering while we were righteously attending church. Oddly enough, after church my mom would get dropped off at home, while the rest of us had to drive down the road to get the mail. Which of course my dad would drag out for what seemed like fifty hours. It was TORTURE. And we were never suspicious. NOT ONCE.
The innocent mind of a child. And of course when we finally made it home, there was our mother and a house full of chocolate eggs.
"Look kids! The Easter bunny has been!"
Sure.
Anyway... now that I am grown, the Easter bunny does a Santa Claus kind of a deal. He sneaks in while we are sleeping and hides eggs. So when we wake up, there they are, just waiting to be gobbled up so we can be as hyper as possible for church.
Here's a few pictures of the hunt...
And here they are with all the goods...
I have a feeling that he kind of enjoyed the whole hunting for candy thing. Just a hunch.
Just barely hanging onto her booty.
Weird and crazy, and he hasn't even eaten any chocolate yet!
Reid and his favourite Australian treat.
