Hey hey look at this! More than two posts in a week! I'm on a roll...
Really, though... you should be thanking Lena for this miracle, as she gave me a story I had to share. Of course anyone is welcome to enjoy this story as much as they like, but it's really for the grandmas. Lena's grandmas, that is.
So... dear, sweet, ANGELIC little Lena walks up to me today, with the most distressed look you have ever seen.
"Mommy..." she says, "I need to go to Canada." (Or as she says with her two year old capabilities: Canana)
"You do?" I reply, "why do you need to go to Canada?"
"Because, I need Grandma to take care of me."
(Awww... doesn't that pull at your heartstrings, GRANDMA!)
"You need grandma to take care of you?" I repeat. (Why it is, as adults we feel the need to always repeat back to small children what they just said, I don't know... but there it is)
"Yeah..." she says, "and I need her to give me a drink of milk."
(Keep in mind she said everything in this conversation in the most heart-broken voice imaginable, and the expression on her face grew more distressed with every passing moment)
Apparently the lack of grandmas in Australia is really starting to get her down. And it would also seem that the milk here is not quite up to her standards.
I'm just kinda curious to know WHICH grandma she is thinking of...
maybe the grandmas would like to fight it out?
(Just a thought)
P.S.... Reidster has updated his blog, if you want to head on over... (and by the way, you may neglect to comment on my blog all you want, but if you do it to my Reid, YOU'LL PAY!)
