pa-rty! pizza par-ty! c'mon c'mon!

You may remember a post I did ages ago... about the 'thought box' Reid came up with? Well, we had our first thought box adventure last night... a Pizza party.

And here it is for you to see in all it's glory. Pizza party... the Prepchuk way...

We decided it would be heaps more fun to make our own pizzas, rather than ordering in some greasy disgusting filth from some franchise... so we did! And as you can see from the expression on Lena's face, pizza making is some serious business!

I like pictures like this because it allows me to tap into my mind reading ability...

Jarom is thinking..."La, la la, putting cheese on pizza is just so super... La la la la!"
Reid is thinking... "I sure hope nobody notices me shoving this teeny tiny piece of pepperoni in my mouth... gag... gag..."
And Conner is thinking... "I sure hope the pepperoni police show up soon and haul Reid off for treating that pepperoni is such a manner!!! As Grandpa Coates would say, 'how uncouth!'"

While we waited patiently for our pizza to cook, we made the kids pass the time by...

DANCING!!! I love to watch my kids dance, it is so very very VERY entertaining.

Don't you agree? I mean, just check out that move by Reid! Classic.

A little air guitar from our Jarom. Nicely done.

I bet you're wondering where is our little dancing Conner??? Well remember way back when I told you how he can't handle having anything out of the norm? Like birthday's? Like Christmas? Like going an entire day without playing Lego Star Wars???

Apparently pizza parties fall into the category of "out of the norm." He couldn't take it. Poor little chap.

He managed to pull himself together enough to eat some pizza and watch a movie however. What a relief that must be to you!

Then I forced (not kidding) everyone to play a game that didn't involve a television screen and a Nintendo Wii. They were not too impressed... "But we want to play Nintendo!!! It's not fair, I want Nintendo!" And that was just Wes... you should've heard the little boys!

Lena not only takes her pizza making seriously, but also her "guess who" strategies. "Is your person... ugly???"

They had fun despite my means of torture.

This is only going to make sense to you if you know this little monkey's full name. (Conner William Prepchuk, of course!)
