I have to admit, I really like my daughter. I wasn't really expecting I'd feel otherwise, but there is something extra sweet and innocent about a little girl... can't really put my finger on it... if you have a daughter, then you know what I mean.
She's added the colour pink to our lives. After three boys, we had kinda forgotten that such a colour existed. As far as we knew, there was blue and blue, and then some more blue, and perhaps the occasional green. But a girl brings pink and purple, and yellow...
I like it.
Extra sweet and innocent... right???

She also does strange things, like put on bracelets and necklaces, and carries her purse around. And she loves shoes. BIG time. She has to be wearing a pair all the time... she is constantly rummaging through the shoe box, grabbing a pair of her shoes, and running towards us with them saying... "
Shhhhhoe...
sssshhhhhoe!"

She even draws in an extra cute way... this is one of the rare occasions when she decided to draw on paper. Usually she prefers her legs. And a permanent marker.

Ahhh... the floppy hat. It'll make even the ugliest kid look cute. Not that
MY daughter has that problem of course. It just makes her extra cute.

She's pretty thoughtful too... in this picture she's saying to me, "here mommy, you had better take a drink of water... it's very hot today, and if you don't stay hydrated, you'll get ill."
It's true. That's what she said.
