ceremony schtuff

Well it's time for a whole lot of pictures and one little video. Are you thrilled or what?

Today was Wes' graduation ceremony, so we dusted off our nice clothes, washed the pool stink off our skin, and trekked out for this momentous occasion.

And here's the proof...

Before we could actually get to the whole "ceremony" part of the day, we had to drive five thousand miles to get close to Wes' school. Then we had to walk another five thousand miles to get to Wes' school.

Needless to say...

There was a lot of whining and complaining.

But once we convinced Grandpa that this was something we needed to do for our Wesley, he pulled himself together and we got ourselves there in one piece.

Lena: "Daddy, if you carry me the rest of the way, I promise I will love you more than anything in the whole wide world forever and EVER!"

Daddy: "Okay, princess... and would you like me to buy you a pony too?"

Here is the place we travelled far and wide to get to so we could see Wes receive a sheet of paper in a red folder. When Conner saw it, he said: "Mommy! Are we going in that CASTLE?!"

After we actually got to the school, we had to sit around and wait. And wait, and wait for Wes to take his sweet time getting all pretty and dressed up. This is a picture of us waiting in case you were wondering. Don't we look listless and bored?

Here's Grandma and Grandpa Groody waiting for Wesley as well. Bet they didn't know they were being spied on by some secret agent named Wilson McSneaky (pictured here in that window off to the left). I think he was probably assigned to keep an eye on them by Australian customs... they were very suspicious of all that popcorn they tried to smuggle over.

Eventually Dr. Wes made it back to us. Our kids thought his outfit was just super duper neato.

So how could we not get a few pictures of them wearing his wacky hat?

Awww... don't he look smart?

"Oh why, oh why do they torture me so? I will get them for this someday... if it's the last thing I do... I will get--mmm... this bottle is good."

The groodies. And their son.

How sweet! Our happy family. Well, our happy Daddy, Mommy and Reid. Then add our ecstatic Jarom, mildly confused Lena, and "I'd rather act crazy then smile nicely" Conner.

Here's a picture of me with my dentist. And my husband! Cool trick hey?
And here's the video I promised you way back at the beginning of this post.
Enjoy.
