a jarom day

So! six long years ago today my little Jarom shoved his way into the world. And now here he is, all growed up. Ahhh... how the time flies. (I like to talk like an oldie once and awhile. You should try it, it's great fun).

If you're thinking, 'this must be the birthday boy,' well then, you'd be right! Good for you!

The birthday boy's cake. It's Ben 10, Swampfire, and the Omnitrix. And if none of that made any sense to you, not to worry, you are just suffering from a little "I-don't-have-a-six-year-old-itis." It's a pretty common condition.

Aaaachoooo!!!! Anyone want some cake?

After stuffing ourselves with cake, we figured the best thing to do was go swimming. So we did. Well, except for Conner, which always surprises me, because he's usually so fearless. At one point though, he did sit on the steps into the pool. Wowee, I know.

Reid is so in love with swimming, I think he's going to marry it one day. He hasn't actually learned to dive yet, so don't give me any sass about how his form is all wrong. Just try and remember the last time any of you did a dive. Yeah, that's what I thought.

Those aren't his real feet... they're flippers. You were scared there for a second, hey?

"Mmmm... pool toys. Looks good. Share them with me already Lena!"

Ahhh, sweet little Jarom... now don't you cry. I can't help it if your grandparents whom you love so dearly, forget you on your birthday each and every year. Just one little phone call, I know, that's all you wanted. Just five little minutes. What can I do, to make them understand? Perhaps next year when your birthday rolls around, this picture of your tear-stained face will enter into their minds, and that will do the trick.
