a little miracle

Let me tell you a little something about Lena. She is a beautiful, happy, sweet, splendorous baby. But she is a horrid little sleeper. She does not like to do the following... sleep through the night, take naps, sleep in her own bed, fall asleep in the car, or anything else having to do with sleep that normal babies usually do. She must be cuddled and rocked for an hour, and fed a bottle by a parent (she prefers mommy, of course!) in order to actually fall asleep. We forgave her, because she is the fourth and (fingers crossed) final baby. Then this past week her sleeping habits took an amazingly glorious turn for the better. She started sleeping through the night! Wahoo! In her OWN bed! Wahoo! She began taking nice long naps! Umm... not in her own bed... her parents, but we'll let that one slide. And when night time rolled around one evening (as it tends to do), she took her bottle, laid down on the FLOOR, and fell asleep! What is this wondrous universe we have accidentally stepped into? I don't know, but I'm hoping we can stay!

And because my husband tells me I take way too many pictures of my daughter, and next to none of 'the other children', I took these this morning to prove him wrong.

This is what Jarom does when it's rainy and boring on a Saturday...

Dances like a crazy person in front of the T.V.

This is what Reid and Conner do:

Ignore the crazy dancer in front of the T.V. and watch the show.
