oh, the excitement

Well it's still just me and my two little ones... (like you expected anything different) and I have to admit, with the older two gone... things can get... well... a little bit boring around here. Yeah, I said it. I'm bored. Shocking, shocking... when have you ever heard of a stay at home mom being bored???

I'm not the only one... Conner is too. Life just isn't the same without Jarom around for him to fight with. Conner hardly knows what to do with himself. He's tried picking a fight or two with Lena, but she's just way too mature for such nonsense, and so she just stares him down, until he walks away, embarrassed and ashamed. And then he plays with some Lego...

Fortunately though, our peace and boredom will be completely and utterly destroyed starting next Monday. That's the day Term one holidays begin... (insert scary music here). And so Reid and Jarom will be hanging out with us again until the end of April.

It's good for you, because I'll finally have something to blog about... lots of pictures... mainly of me ripping my hair out... and no doubt a lot of Conner and Jarom doing what they do best... skipping happily through a meadow, holding hands, laughing and singing.
A girl can dream can't she?

So until then, let's take a glimpse into the lives of Lena and Conner, shall we?

Lena, of course has a very busy, demanding schedule:

6.00... wake up, demand food.

8:00... lead mommy to believe she'll have nap. Then cry, demand more food.

10:00... mess her diaper, and maybe let it spew onto her clothes a bit. And mine.

12:00... eat shirt sleeve.

Hey, it's a tough life, full of responsibilities, but somebody's got to do it.

Conner also has much to accomplish in his day...

6:00... whine at mommy

7:00... whine at mommy

8:00... whine at mommy. Have something to eat

10:00... dress up in a car blanket, and run at mommy, whining as he goes.

10:01... finally have a reason to whine, as his foot lands on a strategically placed skateboard.

Hey, it's a tough life, full of responsibilities, but sombody's go to do it.
