So, we keep a pad of paper on our desk by the phone... wow, that's amazing, I know... who does that??? And that pad of paper quickly gets filled up with a lot of doodles, random messages, and phone numbers belonging to who knows who, because my husband usually forgets to put names with these numbers. Anyhow! Pretty soon this pad is a mess, and because I'm a neat FREAK, I have to clear it out every once and awhile so we can get to the blank sheets easier. So as I'm ripping out all these cluttered pages, and mysterious messages, I come across this little gem, written by my sweet innocent husband...
For those of you who don't read chicken scrawl, I'll decipher it for you... it says, "We were having fun when we were at the zoo." Wow! That's great hey? I had NO idea he was SUCH a fan of the zoo! What wonderful little things are revealed on this little pad of paper... what deep ponderous thoughts are shared, great glimpses into the massive mind of my husband. We were having fun when we were at the zoo... ahhh... too true... that zoo, what a place. We really should get there more often... and now of course we definitely will, now that I know how much Wes has a love for the place.
