Merry Christmas

Big surprise, Christmas was a big hit this year with our kids... and their parents kind of enjoyed it too... although it just wasn't the same without... snow. We sure missed that a lot. And I suppose we missed our families too... but not as much as the snow though... okay, fine... we missed our families more. Maybe. That snow is pretty nice stuff... Oh, alright, our FAMILIES! Quick harassing me already!
Here's some pictures of our holiday fun. And, hurray! Some video too...
Christmas Eve pyjamas... and as usual, we force our kids to get their picture taken in front of the tree, when they'd rather be running around the room screaming because they are beyond excited for Christmas morning. A big pat on the back for Wes and I, because we actually managed to get a picture where all the boys are looking at the camera AND Lena is not tipping over. Woohoo!

She has a very squeezable quality about her, don't you think?...It's got to be all that fatness that does it...

This present was for Reid, but you'd never know it... his parents have hardly let him play with it, we've discovered it's actually kind of fun and so we hog it like you wouldn't believe. It may look like an ordinary globe, but it's not... you're probably wondering what it does, but it would take too long to explain it, and I have other pictures to get to... so, too bad for you I suppose.

Jarom was probably the best to watch open presents, because once he got a glimpse of what he was actually opening, he would get so excited, his voice would reach octaves I think only dogs could hear.

Getting ready... to jump... really, reeeealllyyy high....

Thanks to the people who sent these... you know who you are. Actually, you probably don't, your memories are pretty bad... so thanks to grams and gramps Coates.

You sent this too... ringing any bells? She greatly enjoys the book... she is an avid reader. Especially anything involving baby elmo...

Once she was done with her reading, she decided it was time to brush up on her math skills... if I drink 5 bottles today, and eat 2 chocolates... that equals... not enough chocolates...

Time for playing with everything! (If only these two bothersome children would get out of my way!)

It would seem Christmas was a little too much for Conner to take. He started the day a little confused... that moved along to being overly excited... which progressed to crying and bawling... which ended up in a 3 hour nap... whew! It is soooo tough to be two and spoiled.

Wes decided this year he needed to get a special present for the boys just from him. At least that's what he wanted his wife to believe... but I'm thinking it was just a great excuse for him to buy this for HIMSELF!

Here's the boys playing with their 'after dinner gifts.' This was our first year doing it... the boys were thrilled... which I guess means there is no going back now... hello, new tradition! (goodbye, money!)
