Wes and I had the brilliant (?) idea of letting our kids take care of some plants all by themselves. So we took them to a garden center and let them pick out two plants each. Reid was so thoughtful and careful about choosing his, and Jarom was just so happy to get some flowers that were his favourite colour. When we got home they helped plant them and water them, and Reid decided to make a sign for his.
The next day, Reid came up to me and asked if he could use the watering can to water his plants. And Jarom had pretty much forgotten his plants even existed. So... we'll see how the plants do with Reid and Jarom for their parents. The white flowers are Reid's... if you can't read the sign it says 'plants', and Jarom's are of course the purple flowers.
