And EVER.
She's only been counting the days since she turned the big old seven. She could not wait to be eight. It's the baptism birthday after all. Big deal stuff.
It was a great day, and she was sufficiently sad when it was over.
And here's the birthday girl on the big day.
I mean HERE's the birthday girl on the big day.
She loves cats. As long as they are made of cake.
Whoosh.
She's feeling pretty proud of herself…
No boyfriends.
She got to open her presents nice and super duper early
because we had to get Reid to his REAL school.
Thanks, Reid. Love, Lena.
From the Grams and Gramps C.
Doesn't she looked so thrilled to be getting a box of All Bran??
Sorry Lena, but the older you get the more fibre you need.
I'm not sure about her present opening technique here,
but she sure looks cute doing it.
Lena and the Loot.
We took a trip to our caterer (aka: Costco) for the food supplies for the baptism, and
while we were waltzing our way in, Wes announced to Lena that he would buy
her anything she wanted from Costco for her birthday. She was over the moon.
Especially when she found this little huge guy girl. She named her Cocoa Oreo Prepchuk.
Sounds about right.
Baptism time.
Me and my girl.
Wes took fifty pictures of the kids, hoping at least one would turn out good.
But then so many DID turn out, I couldn't decide which to post. Lena serious...
Or Lena smiles.
The boys didn't factor in, since they maintained their smirks throughout.
HAPPY DAY!!
