It was a big deal

One of the best parts about being a parent is when one of your kids comes running to you screaming while blood gushes from their head.

Really!!

Scratch best though and replace it with nauseating.

That's better…

It happened earlier this month, and to my third born who happens to have a really HUGE problem with seeing blood… especially his own, so it was not a dramatic scenario at all.

A bandaid was obviously not going to cut it, so the doctor and man of the house did what only a man would think of doing.

Used duct tape of course.

Conner wasn't too thrilled, but it was better than having blood
pour down his back, so he tolerated it. What a trooper.

Fast forward to school this past week… he was given an English assignment to write a letter about
something important that has happened to him, so you can guess what came up. THE injury.

He decided to write it to Grandma and Grandpa. I decided to share it on the blog instead of actually mailing it,
because it's easier and I'm lazy, AND I have no idea WHICH grandma and grandpa it is actually written to.
So now we can just go ahead and let the grandmas and grandpas fight it out. Easy again for me! And fun.

In his own words:

I think his next letter writing assignment is going to have to be explaining the arts of DO (??)
