I figured since Christmas is fast approaching it would be a great time to do a Halloween post.
It makes sense.
A month or so ago it was Halloween… hopefully you didn't miss it.
We did the usual...
Three things I noticed/loved about this picture:
1. Lena's face
2. Reid's pumpkin carving trance.
2. The spider dangling from Jarom's nose?!? Nice. Very Halloweeny.
Lena decided she'd rather catch up on her catalogues and have a snack than
continue to witness the nasty pumpkin slaughter.
Her face when her father told her to come pull out some pumpkin slime.
In case you were wondering, he loves pumpkin guts.
But really… who doesn't.
Oh right.
Exhibit A
Exhibit B
Nice work boys.
This year for Halloween…
Conner: cutie patootie policeman
Jarom: too cool for his moustache
Lena: feeling a little frozen
Reid: guy that makes you instinctively wrap your arm around your
child's shoulder as you veer in the other direction.
Our attempt at Anna's "frozen" hair. It turned her hair as
hard as a rock and only took fifty years to brush/wash out.
Cute profile though Lena.
One of my children took this picture which explains why it's grainy and weird and
Wes and I don't look too impressed.
Rainbow twins!… you should try it sometime. No one will look at you strangely at all. Trust me.
We did a trunk or treat this year, which was super easy on the legs.
Especially mine, because all I had to do was sit at the back of our car
and eat hand out candy. I think we'll do it every year…
That's our skeleton, Robert, by the way. When he's not busy hanging
out in the back of our car and scaring poor innocent children, he's jamming
it up on the piano.
He plays a mean Canon in D.
