Every once and awhile it's good to clean out the camera of all those random pictures I at some point thought were terribly important.
So! For your viewing pleasure...
The randomness of our life the past month or so...
When my kids aren't killing their brain cells by staring at iPads and computer screens, they are drawing
and drawing and drawing and drawing! With a little drawing on the side.
I'm not sure if Reid is too cool to sit with his brothers and sister, or not cool enough.
We'll never know...
I came up the stairs one night to find this little dude sitting on the post.
My first thought was, "Hello… Peeping Tom…?"
My cutie patootie Conner got some cutie patootie glasses.
It's a whole lot of cutie patootie going on.
If you live on this planet you've heard of loom bands.
We managed to steer clear of the fad for months and months, until one day at the store they had a big
display of them on sale. I happened to have Lena with me and HOLY COW was she excited.
We brought them home, and can you guess who went to town on them…?
Yep! NOT Lena.
"It's okay, Mommy," Conner tells me, "its says on the box it's for girls AND boys!!"
Sitting around minding my own business, when I see a lizard come crawling out
from under the piano. Naturally, Reid had to investigate.
The critter lived under that piano for a week or so, and then we caught him wandering the
hallway, at which point the kids poked and played and shooed him out the front door.
My daughter and I played a game of pool.
Half an hour in and still neither one of us had managed to sink a ball.
It was great fun. I think we'll do it again… never.
My kids came giggling into my room and gave me this gift of a basket full
of stuffed animals...
One of those animals looks strangely familiar...
We all decided it would be great fun to turn Jarom into a nice big yummy CAKE.
Monkey bread for supper... We're cool like that.
Everyone was super thrilled, except Reid, who was super blurry.
I found this weapon concealed under Conner's pillow one morning. I couldn't help but love it…
He is armed and ready for anyone who dares attack in the middle of the night!!
I told my husband that if he peeled me some apples I would make an apple crisp for
dessert. A few moments later I hear this loud noise from the kitchen, and find him
peeling the apples in the manliest way he could think of.
Conner was loving it… Lena looks a little unimpressed...
I knew it!
The perks of homeschooling:
Chilling outside watching a little Bill Nye the Science Guy…
My favourite thing about this picture…
Conner. Nice posing, buddy.
Last, but not least, this child got sick.
Doesn't he look so peaceful and calm and dead while he sleeps…?
And thanks to this child, we are all currently suffering from sore throats, coughs,
and general grumpiness…
THE END.
