I feel like my efforts for posting in March have been pretty weak. So I'm going to going ahead and load you up with a bunch of randomness from the past few days...
So lucky for you!
Sunday was St. Patrick's Day, so we ate green food in his honour.
Lena sat and stared at her toast for about an hour, before I could
convince her it tasted exactly the same as regular bread. She trusted me in the end.
PHEW!
On Monday, Wes and I decided that instead of doing our usual, "let's do errands and
house stuff" we'd do "let's pack up the kids and have lunch at Watson's Bay."
Our children fully supported our decision.
Going to Watson's Bay is fun, because you can take a ferry. Well, fun for the kids I suppose. Wes
and I weren't exactly jumping up and down over it. Okay fine, Wes did a little.
On the ferry.
I decided to try and take a panoramic shot of the beautiful Opera House
and "Haw-ba Bridge" (You gotta say it like an Australian). I did pretty good, I think.
If you ignore my husband and his zigzag arm. Which I do.
Here are some pictures of my children enjoying themselves at the beach. My husband and I decided
not to enjoy ourselves by swimming in the water, but by sitting and watching from a nearby step. And
while we watched, we decided it would be great to get sunburned. So we did.
I like this picture the best. Everyone has suddenly got their own thing to do.
I'm trying to figure out what exactly Reid's thing is here though. It's almost like he's trying
to signal something to us. Or maybe he's just doing the actions to "I'm a little teapot" while
he runs. He's fun like that.
Doyle's fish and chips (and nuggets for my crazy kids who dislike fish)
If I had my choice, we'd come and have lunch at Watson's Bay everyday.
But it's also my choice not to weigh five thousand pounds, so we don't.
It would seem eating delicious food is a tiresome, boring, awful experience.
Not sure if Jarom is sleeping, really savouring his food, or blinking in this picture.
Actually, I think I'm going to go with... praying over every bite.
Sounds about right!!
The mystery picture. I can see that he has thrown something into the air,
and I can see a bird is going for it... but... but... where IS it???
Invisible fries, I guess.
And in other totally non-related news:
My daughter has been exercising her fashion independence
lately. It has brought forth some very interesting results.
