Getting back into school work after you've had a nice, long, lazy, relaxing summer break is like a big old slap in the face.
The first couple of weeks back in take some getting used to, and every assignment seems to take twice as long, but eventually we get back into the swing of things...
And every year, I try to make some sort of improvement to our routine. The past few years my children and I have pretty much just rolled out of bed and straight to our desk, all sleepy and disorganized. Jarom, the tender heart, reading to his sister while I force some Math down Conner's throat.
"Mommy... I really don't like to do all this adding!" (No one does, buddy)
Lena unraveling the mysteries of shapes, and Reid trying to unravel the mystery
of why he must learn to find the fraction of a fraction.
Conner, AKA: the pencil dropper. He stole my sweater from me because my husband decided to set
our air conditioner this morning to level ARCTIC.
