A perk of homeschooling is that we can go ahead and blast through our work like little rockets and then sit back and relax like big old fat couch potatoes for the ENTIRE month of December.
And believe me, we are doing it!!
Every once and awhile though, I find it important to send the kids up to the school room and make them write out the lines:
I sure miss school

I sure miss school...
(times fifty)
I'm a good mother like that. Got to get my brainwashing in while they are still young!
Just kidding. They are having a self inflicted drawing contest.
Rules go like this:
Everyone gets a turn to pick what is going to be drawn, and then that
person judges the drawings, and of course, picks his/her favourite.
They can't choose their own during the round they are the judge,
(fair's fair!) but they still draw for the JOY of drawing!
You would think that during the judging portion of the drawing competition
there would be a lot of huffing, puffing, hurt feelings, tears, tears and more tears.
And you would be RIGHT!
They stuck with it though.

And how would you like to see some video of my kids who think they are just getting a
picture taken, but I decided to mess with their cute little heads and take a video instead?
