Happy Merry Christmas

Well, since it's the season of giving, here's a little of our Christmas from me to you...

Christmas Eve... the first gift... they are feeling EXCITED!

And here's the end result. Everyone as happy as can be. Except for Conner who was completely
miserable. Ah, well... three out of four isn't bad!

See, the problem was, Conner's pajamas and stuffy weren't as
cool as everyone else's. (His words, not mine) Suck it up man! Don't you
know there are starving children in Africa??? (I know it doesn't really apply,
but everyone knows that's what you say to your kids when they're
being ungrateful...)

The Christmas tree... feeling the love.

So, in typical Christmas morning fashion, there was a lot of excitement...

And children eventually being grateful...

There were big smiles...

And over the moon faces. (I wonder what his reaction would have
been like if he had actually been LOOKING at the present???)

There was also a little of the less enthused faces...

(A shirt??? Really? How utterly BORING! )

But mostly a lot of happiness.

And some happiness mixed in with silly.

And some crazy.

Lena figured Christmas morning would be a lot more fun
if rubber boots were worn.

Conner apparently felt the same way.

Our kids live and breath Lego... so our morning was pretty much consumed with building,
building and more building.

Lego spider... just wonderful. I can't get enough of spiders.

A little help from daddy...

He's in love.

Lena decided that she'd rather not play with any of this new fangled Christmas stuff, and pulled out
a box of Dora puzzles that had been gathering dust in the closet for the last six months. The nerve.

Here's the man doing a little multi-tasking. Cuttin' up the ham AND giving me a wink.
He's a talented guy... just one of the many reasons I married him.

Lena didn't quite inherit his multi-tasking abilities however.
You want me to smile for a picture AND eat my dinner??? You ask too much mommy...
you ask too much.

It was delicious stuff! If you don't believe me, just ask Conner's face.

Time for "the dinner gift," a little tradition passed on from my parents. Since we had company for
dinner though, we decided "the dinner gift" should take the status of "right before bed gift."
Unfortunately right before bed was almost 10.00, and some people were a little too tired to open
any more presents. WAKE UP LENA! IT'S A GOOD ONE, I PROMISE!

And here's a few live action shots for you as well...
(Sorry... I would have done just one big video, but blogger wouldn't let me,
so you get three little videos instead!)

And that's a wrap. See ya next time.
