My kids, like so many others, are addicted to making crafts. But my kids save me this one trouble... they think of their craft ideas all on their own. They scour the house, locating whatever booty they may find, and then transform it into the most marvelous things. It requires very little effort on my part... which suits me fine considering how lazy I am.
So it caused me very little surprise when Reid walks into my room one morning to show me a creation he had made. It was a "thought box." What is a thought box, you wonder? Allow me to explain...
A thought box is where, as a family, we can share our ideas about the things that we may want to do together. All we simply need to do, is write down our wondrous thoughts... stick them in the box... and then a few times a week, we reach our grubby little hands into the box, pull out an idea, and then... (drum roll)..., we DO what's written down.
Somebody want to hand him a Nobel Prize please?

The much talked about box... it used to be a kleenex box in a former life... it must have lived a very good life to get such an upgrade!
