a lost tooth

I don't know why it's called a "lost tooth" because he really didn't lose it at all. He knew perfectly well it's exact location right up until the tooth fairy took it. So why, I wonder is it called loosing a tooth... hmmm... strange. And now that I think about it, it's also strange that we say things like "his tooth fell out" because it didn't fall out either. It was yanked, twisted, pulled, and tortured out. Definitely didn't just fall out.

Anyway... here's the child who so proudly lost his first tooth. It may take you a minute to even notice which tooth it is, as he is also the child with a massive gap between each and every tooth.

It's Jarom (in case you couldn't tell). I agree, he does look so old in this picture, I don't know why. Maybe it has to do with the fact that he's pushing six. That's practically ancient.
