I love having a two year old around the house. Well, mostly... they do seem to cause a lot of havoc, but they can be so highly entertaining, I can forgive the havoc. Pretty much.
Our two year old Conner started talking a little later than our other boys, but he is catching up, and is trying his hardest to be understood. But of course, learning to speak English can be a tricky thing... and Conner tends to get his words mixed up a lot. His sentences can get kinda backwards, but luckily, with our highly trained parent ears we can decipher pretty much anything. Like the other day, Lena was playing with her daddy's cell phone, and her chubby little hands dropped it on the floor. Conner tells us what happened by saying this...
"Dropped Lena, phone daddy's."
Makes sense, right?
Anyhow, the point of the post... I just wanted to share Conner's way of asking to be picked up. Which he often asks for... he loves to be carried. So he'll come up to us and hold out his arms and say...
"Up yours!"
Yeah, up yours. It means he wants to be carried. Seriously.
Well, I hope so anyway.
