forget the stork

Due to the fact that Wes and Reid are back at school, and Conner naps for a few hours right around noon, Jarom and I are left to have lunch together. Which makes for an interesting time, because having a one on one conversation with Jarom can be a very unique experience. Half the time I'm not really sure what he is talking about, and he has this habit of just making up words, when he can't think of one that fits in with what he needs to say. Other times he just comes out with the cutest things... like our lunch yesterday. Once I had made our lunches and we sat down together, Jarom looked over at my food, and noticed it wasn't the same as his. (I'm not as big of a fan as he is of peanut butter sandwiches, chips, and purple yogurt). And so the conversation went a little something like this;

Jarom: How come you don't have the same food as me?

Me: Because I like different things than you.

Jarom: Oh... but you should eat the same things as me because then you can grow up big... this food (as he stuffs a chip in his mouth) makes you grow up big... and then you can be as big as daddy.

Me: Well, I'll never be as big as daddy, but you will someday.

Jarom: Yeah... and Reid too. And Conner is a baby, but then he'll grow up.

Me: Yes he will.

Jarom: And then we'll have to buy some more babies.

Me: Buy more babies?

Jarom: Uh huh... from Jesus.

No, we have never told him you buy babies from Jesus... nothing even close to that... I don't know why he thought of it, but it was soooo cute.
